I am old fashioned person and I like to receive notifications about new versions of given software on email. I wasn’t able to find the Gradle announcement mailing list. It would be useful (probably for many people) to have that low volume mailing list.
Btw, maybe it is possible to subscribe on http://forums.gradle.org/gradle/updates/recent to get notifications about the new topics/things on email?

You should be able to tune your notification preferences @ http://forums.gradle.org/people/me/notifications
Unfortunately I can only: > Notify me of all new topics in Gradle > Notify me of every new topic and every new reply in Gradle
I see no option to be notified about new topics in just one category.
